Surface Preparation

The substrate must be cleaned from dust, dirt and oil and should be made sound and dry. For a smooth wall, the entire surface should be levelled with 5510 Kale İnce Akrilik Macun or 4009 Kale Macunart. The surface is primed with 5335 Kale Silastar in appropriate colour as 2 layers and the surface preparation is completed.


Application

Ready to use 5043 Betonart Fresh should be mixed well with a low speed mixer. After ensuring that the primer dries completely, Betonart Fresh is applied as a single layer on the entire surface by means of a trowel. If desired, the surface is tiled by using a steel trowel and pattern is created. It is possible to apply Betonart Fresh as a single layer or to create different patterns, textures and thicknesses with the product. For example, in order to get exposed concrete appearance, 2 different colours (B183 and B185) of Betonart should be taken to the trowel and applied after the first layer application dries completely, the texture should be created by pressing and removing the trowel locally 15-20 minutes after the application and entire surface must be finished with a trowel while it is still wet. Complete surface curing is ensured at the end of 1 day.
